The Ritz Condo Renovations

Unit renovations at The Ritz, 2715 Boardwalk at Iowa Avenue, a short walk down the Boardwalk from our shop.

Renovating at The Ritz

The Ritz is one of the Boardwalk’s landmark buildings. It opened in 1921 as the Ritz-Carlton hotel and was converted to condominiums in 1982. Boardwalk Renovations has renovated bathrooms at The Ritz, and our shop at 3101 Boardwalk is a short walk away for walk-throughs and check-ins.

An older building calls for an experienced crew

A building with a hotel past often hides earlier renovations, older plumbing runs and walls that are not perfectly square. We open walls carefully, document what we find with photos, and price any surprises in writing before the extra work is done.

Working within the association’s process

Unit work at The Ritz follows the association’s rules: approval of the scope of work, certificates of insurance, elevator scheduling and approved working hours. We handle the paperwork with building management and keep hallways and elevators protected and clean while we work.

“We used Boardwalk Renovations recently to upgrade our bathroom in The Ritz Condominium in Atlantic City. The remodel is amazing. We are so pleased with the results.”

Common questions

Do you work at The Ritz?

Yes. We have renovated bathrooms at The Ritz Condominium, 2715 Boardwalk, and we coordinate with the association on approvals and scheduling.

Do I need association approval to renovate my unit?

Almost always. We prepare the scope of work and certificates of insurance and submit them through building management before work starts.

Can you convert my Ritz bathtub to a walk-in shower?

Yes. Tub-to-shower conversions are one of our most common condo projects. We confirm drain and plumbing locations first, then waterproof, tile and add glass.

How much does a bathroom remodel cost at The Ritz?

Most bathroom remodels we quote fall between $15,000 and $35,000, depending on size, tile, shower glass and whether plumbing moves. A free walk-through gets you a written number.
