The room we are asked about most
Bathrooms are the most common project we take on, and often the first one. A dated tub surround becomes a glass walk-in shower. A cramped vanity becomes a long double vanity with real storage. A powder room gets the wallpaper and tile that make guests stop and look.
What a bathroom remodel includes
- Demolition and prep. Removing old tile, fixtures and vanities, and correcting what we find behind the walls.
- Waterproofing. Proper shower waterproofing under the tile, the part you never see and the part that matters most.
- Tile. Floors, shower walls, niches, benches and feature walls, from marble to herringbone.
- Showers and tubs. Walk-in showers, glass enclosures, tub-to-shower conversions and new fixtures.
- Vanities and storage. New vanities, tops, mirrors and medicine cabinets.
- Lighting and ventilation. Vanity lighting, recessed lights and exhaust fans sized for the room.
Bathrooms in condo buildings
A leak in a high-rise is never just your problem; it becomes the unit below's problem too. That is why we take waterproofing and plumbing connections seriously in condo bathrooms, and why we coordinate any water shutoffs with building management ahead of time.
Built for wet feet and sandy summers
Shore bathrooms see more traffic than most, especially in rental homes and houses full of summer guests. We recommend tile, grout and fixtures that clean easily and hold up, so the bathroom still looks new years from now.

“Our new bathroom is both incredibly functional and beautifully finished. The attention to detail truly shows.”
Dan & Maureen · The RitzCommon questions
Can you convert a tub to a walk-in shower?
Yes. Tub-to-shower conversions are one of our most common projects, in both condos and houses.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A typical bathroom takes a few weeks depending on tile, fixtures and the building's working hours. We give you a schedule before we start.
Do you handle the tile work yourselves?
Tile is a core part of what we do, from simple floors to marble showers, niches and herringbone feature walls.
